GDA Entertainment lifts FUTO with Unlimited Laughter comedy show

Residents of Owerri and indeed students of federal university of technology, have cause to smile this weekend as GDA entertainment in partnership with the student union director of socials, has concluded arrangements to hold its hilarious comedy show, Unlimited Laughter, in owerri this Friday (23rd March).

The event would be held at FUTO-WA Complex at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 23rd.

To make it a comedy show to remember, Nigeria’s best comedians have been lined up to perform at the event. They include Salvador from Uganda, British Pastor, Yellow Mouth, Lafin Gas, Adviser, Ominimini, Xpoilt Comedy among Many Others. The comics are expected to leave the audience reeling with laughter with hilarious jokes. Don’t miss out.

Imsu Regains Full Nuc Accreditation For 3 Professional Courses.


Three courses in Imo state University, which had hitherto lost accreditation, have regained full accreditation by the National Universities Commission, the vice Chancellor Professor (Mrs.) Victoria Adaobi Obasi said in her address at the 26th silver jubilee matriculation ceremony of the school.

The courses which now enjoy full accreditation include Nursing Science, Medical Laboratory Science and Medicine.

The Erudite Scholar and Sub-Dean Faculty of Education Professor Adaobi Obasi ably represented by dean of various faculties said "May I gladly inform all parents and guardians that our programs in Nursing science, Medicine and medical laboratory science which hitherto failed professional accreditation have been re-accredited to the glory of God Almighty".

The courses were re-assessed by the NUC during its accreditation visit to the University in November 2017, the story is different today as it now enjoys full professional accreditation, the wireless informant learns.

Imsu 26th Matriculation Ceremony: Vice Chancellor Urges Fresh Students To Give Their Academic Work Top Most Priority.


Imo state university has held its 2017/2018 Matriculation ceremony to officially formalize the admission of the fresh students and welcoming them into the University. This year’s matriculation is outstanding because the university is celebrating silver jubilee of its relocation from uturu, Okigwe thus the 26th matriculation ceremony since its relocation in 1992, #Imsu_Elijah the wireless Informant discovered.

The matriculating students swore an oath of allegiance, promising to be of acceptable conduct throughout their stay in the university.

The university's Vice-chancellor Professor (Mrs.) Victoria Adaobi Obasi who was represented by dean of various faculties, during her address, re-expressed IMSU's position as the best state university in Nigeria while advising the matriculating students to give their academic work topmost priority.

The VC said, 
“To our matriculating students, your matriculation marks a mile stone in your life ambition to acquire university education in one of the best state universities in the country and which moreover enjoy free education by the grace of the Imo state Government under the dynamic leadership of the visitor, (Dr) Rochas Owelle Anayo Okorocha.” 
she further added 
“Finally, you have to be properly guided and at all times endeavor to stay out of trouble and focus on your primary responsibilities as students.”

The vice chancellor warned the new students against joining secret cult, indecent dressing, impersonation and all forms of lateness maintaining that the university has zero tolerance for such.

Imsu Students Go Wild On Rag Day; Checkout Pictures Of The Craziest Ragger.


Newly Admitted Students of Imo State University went wild today 15th March as they celebrated the 2017/2018 “Rag Day” in style.

We heard students heading far as Port Harcourt, Abia State and Neighboring States to Rag.

Commenting on the rag day, a 100L student of Industrial chemistry Bright Ijezie Said

 "It was a fun filled outing, I realised N7,000 from the rag outing just because of the funny way I dressed".

Another student Stanley Onyechere from library and Information science who didn't participate in the rag outing said 

"I didn't rag because I don before for polytechnic where I studied before coming over here".

The event saw male students dress as females while others put on rags as they paraded around the campus, Streets of Owerri and beyond.
